Two tatami rooms of ten and eight mats open into each other, with a tokonoma alcove where the house puts a seasonal scroll and a branch of whatever is in flower. A wide veranda looks onto the moss garden. Four futons are laid out after dinner, so the room sleeps up to four. It is the quietest room of the house in winter, with heated floors under the tatami.

The house
Every room has access to the public bath area (the cypress bath, the cold plunge and the rest room), open from 15:00 to 23:00 and from 6:00 to 9:00. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out at 10:30. Dinner and breakfast can be added to your stay when you book. Wi-Fi is free throughout the house.
